Where has time gone?
We received a booklet through the post from the local education authority a little while ago. The time was rapidly approaching when we would have to pick a primary school for Alex!! Well the deadline for applications was today. We visited a local catholic school yesterday and were very impressed and that is choice no.1, but we have to pick 4! We're hoping he gets the first choice, not because we're devout Catholics, far from it, but the general feeling is that their ethos and standards are better than other faith schools. Fortunately he was dunked at the attached church a couple of years ago and that should carry favour.
We cannot believe our little boy will be going to school soon, September, and that (nearly) 4 years have gone by since we posted his first pics on the old forum!!! God they grow up quickly, and we're at the other end to most of you who have grown up/teenage kids.
Will let you know if he gets the school we want, but won't find out til March.
