New Baby...

Couldnt help ourselves...
After losing Zack under less than desirable circumstances, Chloe became very depressed.

We also realised a need for two dogs to adequately patrol and guard the property.

Sooooo.....
Welcome to our house "Rosie"

On arrival, Chloe and Rosie immediately hit it off and had well and truely bonded within a few hours.

Here they are at the end of the day after Rosie first arrived... two very tired pooches

And today, we took Rosie for her first ever walk on the beach.... she LOVED it and was in the water immediately

So far, she is very precocious and smarter than the average dog... I think we will have a lot of "puppy" trouble ahead of us... she is so very smart combined with energetic... lucky for her she is living with us and will have plenty of opportunities to fulfil those needs

I was looking for a heeler pup last month, nearest one to me was in Mitchigan

Wasn't easy to find a heeler pup in Perth in a week either Mugs !!

After phoning several places, all of which sounded a bit 'sus' it seemed that several of them may have been connected in some way and one woman was quite pushy telling us she will bring a selection of pups to us as she has some in this suburb and some in that... which coincided with the suburbs in other advertisements...and if this lot are not suitable there will be more available in a week...of several phonecalls that were made and messages left, she was the only one that returned our calls... several times !! it all started to sound like puppy mill or puppy stealing racket stuff.

We eventually got onto one family who were happy to let us see both parents, happy to have us visit the property etc... makes for a more confident purchase.

Taking her for a walk down to the river, for the second time today, to tire her out so she sleeps tonight
