What we have been up to lately...

As you would all know, I have taken on part time Uni study this year as well as working 4 days a week (in paid employment) plus trying to have a life somewhere in there too...

It seems that I have neglected this forum and everyone else has gone quiet too... or has everyone else found a life too??



Anyway... Spare time gets a little short sometimes, so we have been going out of our way to make the most of it...



The last few weeks have been a little difficult for me... I fell hard, just over a month ago and tore all the ligaments in my ankle... had 2 weeks in a cast, 3 on crutches and now extensive Physiotherapy and rehab... will be a while longer before I have a fully functioning ankle with no pain... but gotta keep moving...



These two vids are Sandboarding... the daughter's boyfriend has started making boards and had a few that needed testing so we all headed up to the dunes to do so... With my ankle, I was unable to board so I had the task of riding the quad bike up and down the dune ferrying boarders and boards from bottom to top...















The dogs love it too



All this less than an hour from here...

we are in SA, stuck here doing the Dr's rounds for Vick's eye that keep's causing problems, weather is cold and wet so that aggravates the old joints, other than that ...... life is still fun,

I do pop in and check your blog every now and then... but not as often as I used to or should, I will admit.



Glad to hear you are still enjoying the nomadic lifestyle and hope all goes well with Vicks eye issues.

That's ok Tam, you have probably given up on us calling in on our way by ..... certainly nothing personal, usually it's with family or mates in tow or wrong time of day / night ...... one day we may surprise you

Ummmmm....I've been at my 35th school re-union with some excellent mates.

Some however: didnt respond to my numerous invites.

Good food, good company....walked home at 2am.
